Nobody's Perfect Parenting
Support, Info, and Resources for Parents and Professionals
It’s no secret that every parent wants their child to be happy, healthy and safe.
But it’s easy to forget that none of us come fully prepared for the job.
Families are complex and full of challenges, especially for young parents, single parents or parents who find themselves isolated socially, geographically or linguistically.
Our Nobody’s Perfect Parenting Program provides parents of children from birth to age 5 with:
- A safe place to build on their parenting skills
- An opportunity to learn new skills and concepts
- A place to interact with other parents who have children the same age
The BC Council for Families is the Provincial Coordinator of the Nobody’s Perfect Parenting program in British Columbia and coordinator Ruby Banga is responsible for supporting community programming and inquiries.
Read on to learn how the program can help you become a better prepared parent, or how you can become a trained Nobody’s Perfect Program Facilitator.
